PLAYA OSTIONAL

Lying north of Playa Nosara, Playa Ostional is the portion of a National Refuge where hundreds of thousands of Olive Ridley sea turtles lay their eggs annually. This is a beach and reef break with rights and lefts that works on higher tides and south to southwest swells. This area is generally a little bigger and rougher than Nosara and Guiones.
