In May 2023 we welcomed artist Rosy Keyser to Harmony. Through her work, she explores ways of reënacting the aliveness and immediacy of nature. She is interested in the ever-shifting role of tools and structures in our midst as well as the elastic potential of painting to reflect the change that characterizes life from moment to moment.
While in residence at The Harmony, Rosy focused on themes as diverse as surfers bodies, ghosts in trees, and looking at plants as lenses into expanded intelligence.
In this video, we follow her artistic processes as she explores and connects with our environment, and experiences the wonder of the forms, patterns and movements that are so unique to Nosara. It’s a story of creating work that is inspired by living fully in the moment, and embracing the potential of what exists.
